Recycling Abandoned Cable
A revolutionary cable recycling technology from DuPont converts end-of-life abandoned cables to reusable copper and separated plastic streams. PSD is among very few companies in the New York area to receive a Certificate of Waste Diversion in order to account for the fate of any removed cable which may be included in submittals for United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED® programs.

Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola, NY
PSD Cabling and Networking have been working throughout the Winthrop University Hospital Campus toward the Migration from NT4 domain to Windows 2000 Active Directory. The design and implementation of Nortel Redundant Core Network as well as design and implementation of Fiber Optic Campus Network, New IDF design and restructure have all been ongoing phases. PSD will provide WUH with ongoing technical and cabling infrastructure support in the future.

August 2006 Network Seminar
PSD hosted its second seminar, this time featuring Aruba Networks and nSuite Technologies. Industry-related innovations and solution were the focus of this event attended by clients and consultants. After the seminar, attendees continued their discussions during lunch and then enjoyed a World Yacht cruise around Manhattan. Additional seminars will be scheduled.
